The Haslerstrasse was previously named Olgastrasse, but was renamed in 1910 in honor of Johannes Hasler, a local farmer and poet. Interestingly, the new Olgastrasse was built in 1900, between the Stadelhofen station and the Hohen Promenade, and was not named after a specific person, but rather followed the trend of naming streets after female first names.
